The following are personal accounts of the struggle
with anxiety and the pain that results. These stories are written in the persons own words, and are being told in
the hope that they may help others understand that help is available and how therapy can be of benefit. Real names are
not used and identifying information is omitted or modified. These individuals hope their stories serve as a source of information
as well as inspiration for others.
I have added some additional comments
to these stories in parentheses and italic print.
My clinical summary follows each
story.
